Alpine S-Series S2-S40C 4" Component Speakers - Newly designed and Hi-Res Audio certified, the next-generation S-Series S2-S40C 4" component speakers set a new standard for entry-level audio performance.

We have packed these speakers with superior capacity by using highly efficient materials and proprietary design elements. The lightweight woofer cone, made from a combination of polypropylene, fiberglass, and mica materials, delivers the essential high output/low distortion sound required for High-Res Audio performance. Alpine S-Series speakers have increased magnet sizes for more power handling and the best mid-bass performance in their category.

The woofer features a High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround that brings out the best in bass by allowing maximum cone movement. A 2 cm (3/4") dome tweeter provides all the high-frequency detail you've been missing with your factory speakers.

All speakers in the S-Series series have a wide fit for vehicles and include multiple adapters and spacers. By using in-line crossovers, these speakers can be installed quickly and easily, even at home.
