Description of Axton ATS-ISOFADOUT
The A594DSP has an LS diagnostic embedded in the Texas Instruments amplifier IC as a protection mechanism against short circuits, low impedance or contact with ground. The output of the IC is also switched off if no loudspeaker is connected.
However, the protection circuit sometimes also takes effect on some loudspeakers with a capacitor connected in series (high pass). In such a case, this adapter must be installed to bypass this LS diagnostic.
Note: If the LS diagnostic of the A594DSP has been triggered, the device must be restarted.
