Black Hydra HDA-4.90

The Black Hydra HDA-4.90 is focused on uncompromising SQ (Sound Quality) audio systems. It is a fusion of technical solutions attached to the perfection in designing AB-class circuit boards using top-level components. The model features a completely symmetrical layout and consists of two dual-channel amplifiers in a single body, with separate power supplies.
The amplifier operates with increased idle currents in the output stages, effectively transitioning it to Class A operation at low signal levels. This allows for the transmission of precise and distortion-free nuances of sound, helping to avoid increasing distortion at low output levels, typical of traditional AB-class amplifiers.

At the same time, the HDA-4.90 has a significant reserve of undisturbed power and is perfectly compatible even with "heavy" speaker systems while maintaining full control over the speakers. This makes it completely universal – the amplifier can be successfully used in both traditional systems and systems with each channel amplification. Its high overload capacity allows the HBA-HDA-4.90 to operate stably for speaker systems with a nominal impedance of up to 1 Ohm or connected to subwoofers in bridge mode with a nominal impedance of 2 Ohms.

In creating this amplifier, special attention was given to the selection of components. The use of low equivalent series resistance (low ESR) buffer capacitors in the power supply allowed achieving the maximum high-speed response of the amplifier to the applied signal, due to which the HDA-4.90 accurately transmits the signal attack, and the sound has not only high detailing but also outstanding macrodynamics.
