REVISION 'F'
Previous revisions of the 600, 700, and 800 Series subwoofers made them bigger and better, and in this latest “f” revision, precision-engineered thermal cooling improvements play a major role, along with some design elements that are literally “cutting edge.”

THERMAL TRANSFER
The “f” revision subwoofer was specifically engineered to deliver improved thermal transfer. The dual aluminum heat sink works to draw heat away from the soft components into open chambers where the Free Flow Cooling System pushes through cooler induced air to remove the heat.

MORE XMAX
When the thickness of the top plate was increased, the voice coil was extended to keep more winding within the gap. More coil wire surrounded by both motor steel and billet aluminum helps dissipate more heat from the coil under all conditions, optimizing electrical efficiency during prolonged use.

TALLER SURROUNDS
Increased Xmax and excursion required enhancements to the moving system. Therefore, taller surrounds have been tooled and the spider refined to fully optimize the new motor design. These higher surrounds are double-stitched to fiberglass-woven, non-pressed cones. With dual layers and multiple spiders, DD continues its tradition of long-lasting durability.
