REVISION 'F'
Previous revisions of the 600, 700, and 800 Series subwoofers made them larger and more powerful. In this latest “f” revision, precision-engineered thermal cooling improvements take center stage, alongside several design features that are quite literally “cutting edge.”

THERMAL TRANSFER
The “f” revision subwoofer was specifically developed to enhance thermal transfer. The dual aluminum heat sink channels heat away from the soft parts into open chambers, where the Free Flow Cooling System forces cooler induced air through to dissipate the heat.

MORE XMAX
As the top plate thickness increased, the voice coil was extended to keep more winding in the gap. More coil wire, surrounded by both motor steel and billet aluminum, efficiently pulls heat away from the coil in all conditions—optimizing electrical performance during prolonged use.

TALLER SURROUNDS
The increased Xmax and excursion demanded enhancements to the moving system. Taller surrounds have been tooled, and the spider has been refined to perfectly complement the new motor design. These higher surrounds are double-stitched to fiberglass-woven, non-pressed cones. With double layers and multiple spiders, DD continues its tradition of long-term durability.
