REVISION 'F'
Previous revisions of the 600, 700, and 800 Series subwoofers made them bigger and better, and this latest “f” revision brings precision-engineered thermal cooling enhancements of major significance, along with design elements that are quite literally "cutting edge."

THERMAL TRANSFER
The “f” revision subwoofer was specifically engineered to provide improved thermal transfer. The dual aluminum heat sink works to dissipate heat from soft parts into open chambers where the Free Flow Cooling System pushes through cooler induced air to remove that heat.

MORE XMAX
When the thickness of the top plate increased, the voice coil was extended to keep more winding in the gap. More coil wire surrounded by both motor steel and billet aluminum draws more heat from the coil under all conditions, optimizing electrical efficiency during prolonged use.

TALLER SURROUNDS
Increased Xmax and excursion required improvements to the moving system, so taller surrounds were tooled and the spider was refined to fully optimize the new motor design. The taller surrounds are double-stitched to fiberglass-woven, non-pressed cones. With dual layers and multiple spiders, DD continues its legacy of long-term durability.
