Description of Emphaser EM-MBSUBL2
The concept
The EM-MBSUBL2 front bass from the EMPHASER Universe series is specially designed for installation in the footwell of the driver's seat and is perfectly suited for use together with the EM-MBF2 Kompo or EM-MBR2 Coaxial to realize a significant sound upgrade with true hi-fi character - without the use of a separate amplifier. The EM-MBSUBL2 fits - just like the EM-MBSUBR2 - perfectly into the original installation space in the footwell of the vehicle and can be easily connected to the original plugs thanks to the plug & play connection terminal.
The sound
The EM-MBSUBL2 features a 20 cm/8" woofer that makes optimum use of the volume provided by the vehicle. The hard and torsion-resistant aluminum cone convinces with its impulsivity and fidelity. In combination with the powerful neodymium magnet, the EM-MBSUBL2 provides the powerful, responsive and low-distortion bass response you've always wanted. The included 6 dB crossover filters out frequencies above 200 Hz to ensure that voice reproduction is not compromised throughout the soundstage.
Upgrade with the EM-MBSUBR2
The EM-MBSUBL2 can be supplemented with the EM-MBSUBR2 for the passenger side footwell. However, an additional amplifier is then necessary due to the common connection impedance of both woofers of 2 ohms and the insufficient power of the standard radio.
The EM-MBSUBR2 and EM-MBSUBL2 front basses are compatible with Mercedes Benz models A205, C205, S205, W205, S213, W213, C238, A238, C253, X253 and W222.
