The development of the new XMAXX series was a challenge, as its predecessor was ahead of its time.

The XMAXX model features a low-profile Zero SPL top-of-the-line cone with a high roll surround that retains its shape even under extreme excursion.
There are many similar drivers on the market, but they often lose control when pushed – not the case here.

Due to the increased excursion, the motor has also undergone many internal changes to maintain airflow control and provide the voice coil with the necessary cooling. This is a common problem in similar designs – something Ground Zero recognized, which is why the internal motor design is unique.
We claim that XMAXX drivers are the only ones of this kind where you can enjoy excellent sound quality across the 10–70 Hz range. That is, this driver can also play above 40 Hz frequencies – which is usually impossible for 80–120mm excursion drivers.
(At higher frequencies, turbulence is generated in the normal motor and the coil overheats immediately)

XMAXX is the world's first long-excursion subwoofer with a Klippel-optimized magnet. All components are in perfect balance.
