HELIX DSP.3S – The next level of digital signal processing

HELIX DSP.3S sets a new standard for digital signal processors. This 8-channel DSP is the result of continuous refinement and offers a range of significant improvements. With both optical and coaxial digital inputs, it provides full flexibility for high-resolution sources with sampling rates up to 192 kHz.

A 64 Bit Audio DSP from the latest Sigma350 generation, together with BurrBrown A/D and D/A converters, ensures a clean signal path with a 96 kHz sampling rate and a frequency response extending beyond 40 kHz. The result is sound quality ready for true high-resolution audio experiences.

The powerful ACO platform (Advanced CoProcessor) manages all control functions and enables lightning-fast switching between up to ten sound profiles. ACO also activates functions such as Augmented Bass Processing, StageXpander and RealCenter, and includes an Input Signal Analyzer (ISA) and channel-individual Input EQ for seamless integration even with factory radios.

For practical use, DSP.3S offers a smart high-level input with ADEP.3, Auto Remote switch, HEC slot for expansion modules (e.g. Bluetooth® HD), and the new Smart Control Port (SCP) which powers and connects accessories via a robust snap-in connector. All packaged in a clean and compact format that is easy to integrate in any vehicle.
