ZEUS 2-way 16 cm Component System ZX6.2C – Test Winner in the Top Class!
The ZEUS ZX6.2C component system was voted test winner in the top class by Car & Hifi magazine (1/2019). The honeycomb composite cones and neodymium silk dome tweeters, now also used in the ZEUS ZS systems, contribute greatly to the system's excellent sound reproduction. The three variants of the test-winning ZX6.2C are now available in basket sizes of 16.5, 13, and 10 cm. In addition to the high-quality sandwich cone from the ZEUS ZX series, the same powerful voice coils are used — particularly generous at 30 mm on the 16.5 cm top model ZS6.2E. All ZEUS ZS component speakers come with detachable magnet covers and are delivered in pairs including a grille set.
Another highlight of the ZS systems is the 25 mm ZX6.2T silk dome tweeter with coupling volume. This tweeter, also known from the test-winning ZX6.2C set, does not require a complex or large crossover network — the deep natural resonance of the design, in combination with the honeycomb speakers, allows the use of a simple 12 dB in-line crossover cable. The result is a fantastic sound that will impress even the most discerning music lovers.
