Everyone using powerful amplifiers in their vehicle is familiar with the problem: when the bass hits hard, the "nominal 12-volt electrical system goes down," evident in flickering lights synchronized with the music. The issue lies in the fact that a car battery is powerful but, due to its high internal resistance, it cannot deliver quick current pulses. However, these pulses are essential for powerful amplifiers to reproduce bass crisply and cleanly.

With the new hybrid power capacitors from the ZEUS EXTREME ZXT series, such problems are a thing of the past. Thanks to modern hybrid technology, where an electrolyte fluid and a polymer act as a film base, it's possible to fit up to 10 Farad capacity into compact casings. At the same time, the technology ensures a very low internal equivalent series resistance (ESR), allowing the power to be available almost instantly.

ZEUS EXTREME ZXT capacitors deliver the stored extra power precisely when the subwoofer amplifier IMMEDIATELY requires a lot of energy for the heavy bass. The released energy is then replenished from the battery into the power cap for the next attack. The capacitor can, therefore, buffer and smooth out voltage peaks by absorbing excess energy and releasing it again when needed.

Positive side effect: The lifespan of a vehicle battery can be extended by using a power capacitor.
