How is it possible to get "MO" out of a Massive Audio CEA 2031-certified "SUMMO" subwoofer? All you need to do is double stack 250 Oz Strontium Magnets on a newly designed lightweight, ultra-strong cast aluminum basket. Use dual 4 Ohm black 3" anodized VC formers with Kevlar Spunlace, suspended in a custom black anodized one-piece machined pole plate (this helps to increase the concentration of the magnetic field). Just add oversized dual Poly Nomex spiders. Bond them to Kevlar fiber-reinforced non-pressed paper cones stitched in "red" on the large surround. Throw in about 10-gauge speaker cable, hardwired to tinsel leads, and just bolt it all together! That’s what makes the SUMMO 104 "XL," 124 "XL," and 154 "XL" Extra: "Large, Low, and Loud."
