There are many vehicles on the road today—and more sold daily—that weren’t equipped with factory navigation. While replacing the stereo unit with one that includes navigation is often a great option, Pioneer now also offers a simple and relatively affordable add-on solution that connects directly to the original stereo. The system consists of a hide-away box, GPS antenna, and necessary (plug-and-play) wiring. Installation takes about an hour, and just like that, the customer has built-in navigation in their factory stereo. Menus and voice guidance are, of course, in Swedish, and the maps cover all of Europe. All functions are operated through the touchscreen of the original stereo.
