Xcelsus 4x8" LOUD AS HELL – SQL Panel with Top-Class Sound
An uncompromising panel for those who want both sound quality and volume. This panel combines four of Xcelsus' acclaimed XUSM88 SQL midbass drivers with a pair of incredibly refined XUST28W soft dome tweeters – all pre-installed in a robust sealed MDF enclosure with ready-mounted terminals on the back. The result? A sound system that doesn’t just play loud, but with musical precision and control.
XUSM88 is an advanced 8-inch midbass that blends depth, dynamics, and efficiency like few others. It’s designed as a hybrid between SQ and SPL, meaning you get powerful, well-controlled sound even in the lower registers – without sacrificing energy or detail.
The XUST30W tweeters are something truly special. Their large 30 mm soft dome membranes deliver a smooth yet dynamic treble response that goes as low as 2000 Hz. With high power handling and ultra-low distortion even at high volume, these tweeters stand tall among the best – and many consider them among the finest ever made.
To tie the sound together perfectly, the panel includes DB 2-way filter v2, specifically developed to drive dual 4-ohm midbass drivers together with horn tweeters in a 2-ohm configuration. The crossover point is 4000 Hz with 12 dB/octave, and you get three selectable tweeter attenuation levels: 0, -3 or -6 dB – letting you easily tailor the sound balance to your taste and setup.
LOUD AS HELL 4x8" Panel is constructed in solid MDF for a stable, resonance-damped chassis that brings out the full potential of the drivers. Perfect for those who want to play loud – with class.
NOTE! The tweeter hole in the enclosure may be smaller than the supplied tweeters. This is to ensure compatibility with most tweeters in the included universal enclosure. You may need to use a rasp or similar tool to widen the hole for a perfect fit.
