This "-E" navigation package allows you to purchase a replacement or second map at a low cost and populate it yourself with identical or different digital country map data via Naviextras.

The "-E" navigation package includes the main features of the main package, such as available system languages, navigation voices, vehicle profiles, and map-independent special functions ("Camping POIs," "Free-On-Tour," etc.) of the main series. However, it does not include country maps or a map guarantee, which are only offered in conjunction with the purchase/sale of a new device.

After purchasing the "-E" map package, individual countries or country packages can be purchased via www.zenec.naviextras.com (or www.naviextras.com) and installed directly onto the map. Packages are available as one-time updates as well as options with a 1-year map update subscription.

This has the advantage, for example, that for navigation devices where the map guarantee is linked to the main map but is no longer offered, a secondary map with different map data (e.g., New Zealand, Australia, Tunisia, etc.) can be created for which the main series does not offer free annual subscriptions.

The secondary map can also serve as a direct replacement in case of loss, damage, or theft of the main map, but then without the transfer/continuation of any remaining unused free annual subscription periods.
