Axton ATS-B102XS

The basis of the 2-way coaxial system ATS-B102XS is the 10 cm midrange, equipped with the new, specially manufactured CRYSTAX membrane. It consists of a very harmonic sounding, highly damping paper cone with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals. With their enormously high step response, these crystals ensure the desired precision in the sound image. The powerful neodymium magnet provides the necessary force and supports the defined, clear sound.

The entire moving unit - diaphragm with rubber suspension, Nomex spindle and 1" voice coil - is securely held in the newly constructed composite basket in the distinctive AXTON design. The basket offers excellent stability despite the filigree bars, while giving the rear sound enough space to develop offer and reduce reflections.

Equipped with a precise-sounding 19mm aluminum diaphragm, mounted in a light damping cloth cover, the tweeter of the ATS-B102XS delivers precise musical details with an extremely pleasant sound. The special dome geometry ensures that the tweeter provides the best performance in the respective mounting position for the various vehicles. In this way, you can experience a constant treble level and a fantastic spatial depth in every sitting position.
