Built-in Summing Function
A standout feature of the multichannel converters is the onboard summing function. This circuit is essential in many modern vehicles where the full music signal cannot be tapped from a single output due to electrically separated frequency ranges of factory-installed speakers. A traditional converter would be useless here. With the HF-SC converters, separated signals from the OEM system can be easily merged by activating the "MIXED" function. The sophisticated electronics then generate a full-range signal at the outputs, which is ideal for feeding external DSPs or amplifiers.
