Excursion HXA 5K

Monoblock at 3000W RMS in 1 ohm. A new generation of the successful Excursion HXA series, upgraded with auto start, high-level input, and bandpass filter.

The HXA amplifier series is simple in design but does precisely what it's meant to do: powerfully drive speakers or subwoofers at a modest price.

The HXA 5K is a very cost-effective SPL amplifier when you need it to go really loud, delivering 3000 watts RMS at 1 ohm.

A digital 1-channel amplifier with very high efficiency and compact dimensions, built on a double-sided circuit board using SMD surface-mount technology. The amplifier is equipped with a noise and interference elimination system, as well as a multi-way protection system against overload, short circuit at the speaker output, overheating, and too low or too high supply voltage. Standard equipment also includes smoothly adjustable LP and HP filters with the ability to work in BP Subsonic (Band Pass) mode, "Bass Boost" equalizer, "Auto Turn ON / OFF" system that controls turning the amplifier on and off, and the High/Low Input for audio signals with speaker level and RCA level (common input signals for "High/Low" mode via RCA jacks). Models in the BRIDGE connection system (one as the controlling master, the other as the slave) are also available. The HXA-5K amplifier operates stably with a load of up to 0.5 Ω in a standard connection configuration or up to 1 Ω in a system with two identical amplifiers working together in BRIDGE mode. This model can also be equipped with the optional Excursion HXA-RC subwoofer remote control.
